Giving Back to the Community: Jinlongheng Supports Disability Inclusion in Jiujiang

Treasure Hunt Activity Held to Mark the 34th National Disability Day

In recognition of the 34th National Disability Day, Jinlongheng Furniture Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Jiujiang Charity Association and Huishan Social Worker, organized a “Treasure Hunt” activity at Wujia Courtyard as part of the National Disability Day campaign series. The event aimed to promote social inclusion and support for people with disabilities.

Partnership with Local Organizations to Promote Inclusion

The National Disability Day is a statutory observance in China, established by the 14th article of the Law of the People‘s Republic of China on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, which was adopted on December 28, 1990, and designates the third Sunday of May each year as National Disability Day.

For the activity, employees from Jinlongheng Charity Service Team participated as volunteers to support the event. Team members helped maintain order at the venue and patiently guided participants through each checkpoint activity, ensuring individuals could experience care and encouragement from the broader community. Beyond on-site support, the team also provided material assistance for the event.

Jinlongheng Charity Service Team: Six Years of Community Impact

Jinlongheng Charity Service Team was established in 2018 and has worked since 2019 on an annual community partnership plan with social service agencies in Jiujiang Town. The team’s community initiatives have included charitable assistance to support people in difficult circumstances, ranging from mental health rehabilitation patients and individuals with disabilities, to elderly persons with reduced mobility and low-income households, including single-parent families.

To date, the service team has reached seven communities and villages throughout Jiujiang Town, benefiting nearly 5,000 individuals.
